MATERIALS
• LION BRAND Homespun
2 (3) skeins #361 Disco
or color of your choice
• Size 10 [6 mm] 24” [60 cm] circular needle OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• LION BRAND stitch marker
• LION BRAND large-eyed, blunt needle
GAUGE
10 sts + 18 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st (k every rnd).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
CAPELET
Cast on 130 (140) sts. Place marker and join, being careful not to twist.
Rnd 1 Knit.
Rnd 2 Purl.
Repeat these two rounds until piece measures 3” [7.5 cm]
Change to rnds of St st and decrease 10 sts evenly spaced around – 120 (130) sts. Work
even in rnds of St st until piece measures 9 (10)” [23 (25.5) cm] from beg.
Decrease Rnd *K 1, k2tog; repeat from * around as many times as possible; k any
remaining sts – 80 (87) sts.
Work even until piece measures 11 1/2 (12 1/2)” [29 (32) cm] from beg.
Repeat Decrease Rnd – 54 (58) sts.
Work 2 rnds even.
Repeat Decrease Rnd – 36 (39) sts.
