Some of you might have brothers, sisters, cousins, or family friends who are in our high school. Turn to your partner and tell them what you already know about the high school here at ASM.” Students share with their writing partners. IB stands for International Baccalaureate, which is a curriculum shared by high schools all over the world, To get the IB Diploma, students have to work very hard, take special tests in six different subject areas, and write a 4,000 word essay about a topic that they choose. A 4,000 word essay is over 15 pages long! If you were doing the Extended Essay and had to choose your topic today, what would you write about?
