Maintenance And Lubrication Chart.Maintenance And Its Importance Definition of the "MAINTENANCE" Maintenance is a repair and service work, which should be performed at the specified intervals without waiting for a failure to occur. The purpose of a regular maintenance is to stabilise the performance of the vehicle and components at desired level and to increase the service life by lubricating and renewing when necessary. ‘The summary table of all the maintenance information, which should be done /or have authorised personnel do on the vehicle is indicated at the end of this section. These tables will assist you, to plan the maintenance as a driver and the maintenance to be done by the authorised service stations. Performing maintenance at regular intervals will assure below advantages; Maximum vehicle service life ¢ Minimum operation / repair costs Minimum failure and decreased non- operation period of vehicle Use the oil with Cl4 specifications in the engine, which is indicated in the "Recommended Lubricants Chart" on the first page of this manual. Never use lubricants other than indicated on the Recommended Lubricants Chart for the transmission ut (gearbox / differential / wheel end). If lubricant used in the engine is other than Cl4_ specifications or heavy working conditions are occurred, the periodic (B) and main (A) maintenance must be performed at the half of the standard periods. BMC authorised service personnel are well trained and qualified about the products of BMC and they have all the special and standard tools needed during maintenance and service works. Therefore performing the _periodic maintenance of your vehicle is an absolute necessity while the vehicle is under warranty. If the vehicle is out of warranty, then you must have done the periodic maintenance regularly to protect the product, to have the maximum efficiency and to extent the service of the vehicle.
