TEMAS

-hi i am xxxxxxx and i am student, now i am try to talk about the tems the englis class.

* Hi xxxxx, i am jenny and i interesting all about english, so what is wh questions?

- of course, the wh question is:

Question words are also called wh questions because they include the letters 'W' and 'H'.

1.If you ask about the subject of the sentence, simply add the question word at the beginning:

2.If you ask about the predicate of the sentence (the part of a sentence which contains the verb
and gives information about the subject), there are three options:

If there is a helping (auxiliary) verb that precedes the main verb ( for example: can, is, are, was,
were, will, would...), add the question word and invert the subject and the helping (auxiliary) verb.

If there is no helping (auxiliary) verb in the the predicate and the main verb is not "to be", add the
auxiliary "do" in the appropriate form.

*Great, now could you tell me about “there is and there are”

- so, the used the there is and there are is:

We use there is and there are when we first refer to the existence or presence of someone or
something:

There’s a letter on your desk. Julia brought it from the mail room.

There are three Japanese students in my class.

There is and there’s are both singular forms. We use there’s more commonly in informal speaking:

There is a new cafe in the centre of town which sells Indonesian food.

She’s very determined and there’s no chance she will change her mind.

There are is the plural form of there is and there’s

*i am enchanted with all, and now what is present simple?

- oh, ok the present simple is:

The simple present is a verb tense with two main uses. We use the simple present tense when an
action is happening right now, or when it happens regularly (or unceasingly, which is why it’s
sometimes called present indefinite). Depending on the person, the simple present tense is
formed by using the root form or by adding ‑s or ‑es to the end.
I feel great! Pauline loves pie. I’m sorry to hear that you’re sick.

The other is to talk about habitual actions or occurrences.

Pauline practices the piano every day. Ms. Jackson travels during the summer. Hamsters run all
night.

Typically, when we want to describe a temporary action that is currently in progress, we use the
present continuous: Pauline can’t come to the phone right now because she is brushing her teeth.

* thanks, finishing, what is present continuous?

- god, the present continuous is:

he present continuous verb tense indicates that an action or condition is happening now,
frequently, and may continue into the future.

The Present Continuous Formula: to be [am, is, are] + verb [present participle]

Aunt Christine is warming up the car while Scott looks for his new leather coat. They are eating at
Scott’s favorite restaurant today, Polly’s Pancake Diner.

Key words: Verb, present participle, tense, dynamic verbs, stative verbs

The present continuous (present progressive) tense is a way to convey any action or condition that
is happening right now, frequently, and may be ongoing. It adds energy and action to writing, and
its effect helps readers understand when the action is happening. Imagine Aunt Christine has
surprised her nephew Scott for his birthday and is going to take him out to his favorite restaurant,
Polly’s Pancake Diner. If I wanted to tell the story after it happened, I’d use the past tense:

They waited at the red light, and Scott worried they might miss their reservation. (Past tense).

*thanks Haylee i am satisfaced with the information.

-your welcome Jenny. Bye.

ART
Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, auditory or performing artifacts
(artworks), expressing the author's imaginative, conceptual ideas, or technical skill, intended to be
appreciated for their beauty or emotional power. In their most general form these activities
include the production of works of art, the criticism of art, the study of the history of art, and the
aesthetic dissemination of art.

The three classical branches of art are painting, sculpture and architecture.[3] Music, theatre, film,
dance, and other performing arts, as well as literature and other media such as interactive media,
are included in a broader definition of the arts.[ Until the 17th century, art referred to any skill or
mastery and was not differentiated from crafts or sciences. In modern usage after the 17th
century, where aesthetic considerations are paramount, the fine arts are separated and
distinguished from acquired skills in general, such as the decorative or applied arts.

Though the definition of what constitutes art is disputed] and has changed over time, general
descriptions mention an idea of imaginative or technical skill stemming from human agency[8] and
creation.[9] The nature of art and related concepts, such as creativity and interpretation, are
explored in a branch of philosophy known as aesthetics.

n the perspective of the history of art,[9] artistic works have existed for almost as long as
humankind: from early pre-historic art to contemporary art; however, some theories restrict the
concept of "artistic works" to modern Western societies.[11] One early sense of the definition of
art is closely related to the older Latin meaning, which roughly translates to "skill" or "craft," as
associated with words such as "artisan." English words derived from this meaning include artifact,
artificial, artifice, medical arts, and military arts. However, there are many other colloquial uses of
the word, all with some relation to its etymology.
20th-century Rwandan bottle. Artistic works may serve practical functions, in addition to their
decorative value.

Over time, philosophers like Plato, Aristotle, Socrates and Kant, among others, questioned the
meaning of art. Several dialogues in Plato tackle questions about art: Socrates says that poetry is
inspired by the muses, and is not rational. He speaks approvingly of this, and other forms of divine
madness (drunkenness, eroticism, and dreaming) in the Phaedrus (265a–c), and yet in the Republic
wants to outlaw Homer's great poetic art, and laughter as well. In Ion, Socrates gives no hint of the
disapproval of Homer that he expresses in the Republic. The dialogue Ion suggests that Homer's
Iliad functioned in the ancient Greek world as the Bible does today in the modern Christian world:
as divinely inspired literary art that can provide moral guidance, if only it can be properly
interpreted.
