3 G PROVIDES THE COMPLETE ENERGY DISTRIBUTION SOLUTION cece * Leader in Manufacturing Full Range and Diversified Busbar Trunking Systems * Manufacturing Floor Space is one of the Biggest in Asia Pacific Region * Factory with Total Quality Management System and Certified to ISO 9001:2000 * Factory Capable of Manufacture and supply BTS for Small to Very Large Complexes and on Fast Track Basis * Factory is Environmental Friendly |= MEGATRON™ BUSDUCT INTRODUCTION COMPLIANCE OF DESIGN STANDARDS. ‘TYPES OF CONFIGURATION SYSTEM VOLTAGES BUSBAR CONDUCTORS, E-COAT INSULATION MEGATRON introduces its new complete range of Maintenance Free Epoxy insulated busbar trunking system to meet the latest requirements of modern high rise commercial buildings and industrial complexes. The system allows flexibility, ease of installation and improved electrical efficiency in the distribution of low voltage power for both commercial and industrial applications. MEGATRON busduct is Available from 100A to 6000A rated at 10Q0VAC in a polyphase system. MEGATRON busducts are designed in compliance with EC60439-2 : 2000, BS54865-2 : 1990 and AS3439.2 - 1994. Busways to UL-857 standards are also available upon request. MEGATRON busducts are built with high conductivity copper conductors totally enclosed in a non-ventilated metal housing to form a low-impedance busbar trunk- ing system. MEGATRON busducts are designed to withstand a minimum insulation voltage of TKV at 50 oF 60 Hz frequency or dielectric voltage of 3.5KV, Higher or lower vollages and frequency applications are also available upon request. ‘The busbars used for MEGATRON are carefully, selected to meet all electrical, thermal and mechanical properties and are in full compliance with international standards and requirements, Copper composition is 99.90% minimum or its conduc tivity in excess of 99% IACS. “The busbar insulation material used isa specially formulated E-Coat Epoxy powder applied in a fluidized bed process and is highly stable and reliable. €-Coat Epoxy is rnon- hygroscopic, iner, high surface tracking and is fungus resistant. Itcan withstand temperatures above 155°C. The Epoxy insulation is bonded directly to the busbar conductor thus eliminating any air gap between the insulation and conductor. Water (or moisture is not able to permeate or condense under the Epoxy insulation and each length of the coated busbar i tested by subjecting it under water and applying, a 3.5KV voltage to it The state-of-the-art fluidized bed coating process produces a high quality and uniform epoxy insulation. Firstly, the busbars are blasted and cleaned by a specially developed process. Next they are pre-heated and then dipped in the fluidized bed Containing a specially formulated E-coat epoxy powcler. The coated busbars are then cured at a high controlled temperature. This results in a superior 1 mm minimum thick coating. The insulation has very high mechanical strength against thermal shock and overload, as well asa very high short-circuit withstand capacity. Iti both fire resistant and waterproof and has a stable polymer structure which does not deteriorate in its mechanical, electrical and thermal properties.
