Introduction
Do you know about the peregrine falcon? If you don’t you are about to find out.
Appearance and Adaptations
A peregrine falcon is greyish brown.A peregrine falcon has sharp curved claws
and a sharp curved beak.It is a very pretty bird.They have slender bodies too.They
also have small eyes but still very good eyesight.Physical Adaptations:A couple
physical adaptations of the peregrine falcon are its talons, sharp beaks and sharp
sighting to eat and find prey.Behavioral Adaptations:The peregrine falcon can use
its fastness to dive for prey.
Habitat
The peregrine falcon can live anywhere in the world except Antarctica.
Diet
My animal is diurnal.

It eats other birds such as pigeons and seagulls.

This animal is a carnivore.

It is a predator.

It is prey for bobcats,great horned owl, gyrfalcon and the golden eagle.

Did you know that a peregrine falcon can dive up to 222 miles per hour? The
scientific name of a peregrine falcon is peregrinus. Did you know that the peregrine
falcons’ lifespan is about 17 to 18 years long?
