Elevator Speech

Hello my name is Samantha Meyer and I am fourth year teacher in Santa Ana,
California. I am interested in your second grade teaching position at your school. I have
taught second grade for the past four years. I received my Bachelors of Science degree
in Child and Adolescent Studies and a multiple subject teaching credential with an art
emphasis from California State University, Fullerton. In addition to teaching second
grade I have taken on more responsibilities each year including sixth grade academic
Pentathlon coach, the lead for our school book fair each year, and the lead art teacher
for the art program at my school. I am dedicated and always want to grow as a teacher,
leader, and as a learner. I would love to meet with you soon to talk more about your
