Need-based incidents identification process are known by the term event

detection. Social media twitter is a means of information sharing within the
comunity. One of the contents of twitter is the landslide, which has adverse impact
on the community if it is not prevented immediately. Therefore, real-time event
detection via media social must be done. The approach of landslide event detection
on twitter media uses the advantage of Clustering DENCLUE method. By using the
clustering method, the data containing lanslide topic can be grouped by the level of
density or high similarity. DENCLUE method uses two parameters, the radius (σ)
of a member towards the other member and minimum points (ξ) which gives the
minimum limits of members in one cluster. The result of cluster generated by
DENCLUE method indicates an event resulting from cluster that can be used to
detect the location of landslide incident using NER rule-based. Mapping can be
done to the location detected by NER rule-based using Google Maps API. The
testing of cluster DENCLUE are conducted by means of silhouette coefficient using
variety of (σ) and (ξ) values. The use of the DENCLUE method gives very good
results, proven by variety of tests and experiments with an obtained result of score
1 from 71 tweets with the number of 8 occurrences.
