I. THE WRIT PETITION FILED BY THE PETITIONER IS MAINTAINABLE.

1) It is most humbly prayed before this Hon’ble Supreme Court that the petition filed by the
petitioner, Indiana Young Lawyers Association, filed under Article 32 is maintainable.
As there is a ban on women entry aged between 10 to 50 years and who are in
mensturating age into the Himaya Temple in Tenjiku city which is directly violative of
their fundamental rights enshrined in Articles 15 and 17 of Indiana Constitution.
2) As Article 15(1) clearly states that the state shall not discriminate against any citizen on
grounds of religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth or any of them. The ban levied on the
women on entering the Himaya temple is clear discrimination against them on the basis
of sex.

It is most humbly prayed before this Hon’ble Supreme Court that the Supreme Court has
jurisdiction in defining the boundaries of religion in public spaces as, religion, which violate the
basic fundamental right of a citizen can be
