Mr. Tinus Patalle as Counselor I and Mr. Abdul Salam Paning as Counselor II. Indicators of development in the health sector is the low morbidity and mortality including infant diarrhea. IMCI program is an effort in achieving the aims and objectives, the implementation of IMCI program in health centers in the working area of the District Health Office of South Konawe still not maximized. Knowledge, attitudes and actions is a factor that affects health workers in IMCI implementation of programs that can reduce the incidence of diarrhea. The purpose of this reseach is to analyze the relationship of knowledge, attitudes and actions of health workers with the implementation of IMCI program on treatment of diarrhea toddler. Using the method of cross-sectional descriptive design. The population includes all health care workers (nurses and midwives) who had received IMCI training in community health centers in the working area of the District Health Office of South Konawe totaling 230 people, by means of cluster sampling obtained a sample of 32 people. Held from April 20 until May 20, 2011 data were analyzed with chi square statistical test with p <0.05 and multiple linear regression analysis. Results of analysis using multiple linear regression analysis showed a correlation between knowledge, attitudes and actions of health workers with a significance value of 0.000 and R value (correlation coefficient) of 0.865. It can be concluded that both knowledge and attitude followed acts of kindness. Key words : knowledge - attitude - action - IMCI program - childhood diarrhea treatment.
