MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT The Hingham Housing Authority (the “Authority”) and the Hingham Board of Selectmen (he “Board”) herewith agree as follows: 1, The Authority is the record owner of certain real estate located off of Beal Street in Hingham. Dilapidated buildings known as Building # 62 and Building #157 (the “Buildings”) are located on such property and as a matter of public safety such Buildings must be demolished end removed 2. The Board has the current ability through certain contracts which it has entered on behalf of the Town to effect the demolition and removal of the Buildings, 5, Tt is in the interest of both the Town of Hingham and the Authority to demolish and remove the referenced Buildings 4. The Authority therefor consents to the demolition and removal of the Buildings by the Board at the expense of the Town. *_Inconsideration of the demolition and removal ofthe Buildings, the Authority agrees that it will transfer to the Town of Hingham the parcel of land off of Beal Street shown as Lot ? on the plan attached hereto as Exhibit A. The Authority further agrees that it will use its best efforts to obtain, or assist the Board in obtaining, all governmental approvals, including ut not limited to those of the United States and the Commonweslth of Massachusetts, for such transfer.
