Homage to the guru of innate prisine awareness!

By taking the teachings to heart,

you exemplify how to take advantge of this precious life.
And applying yourself wholeheartedly to the practices,
you wordlessly teach there is no time to loose.

The effects of every act of body, speech and mind,

ripples in the unfathomable absolute space,
and unfailingly manifest as happiness or suffering.
Stubbornly going around in samsara is like being lost in a dream,
clutching mirages I wander from one life to the next.
So that I am able to see samsara for what it is
Oh precious and kind guru, please manifest!

You devotedly took refuge in the three jewels,

until you actualized them.
Now, when beings remember the three rare and supremes,
they think of no one but you.
In the sublime state, free of elaboration,
ultimate bodhicitta is known to be nothing other
than our own essential nature.
By letting go of all the illusions of self-centredness,
you continually manifest the heart of awakening.

Resting in the primordial state,

you clear away eons of accumulated naive tendencies.
Dwelling in unborn awareness, following your teacher's kind advice
you continually offer the greatest of offerings,
well received by all beings in all the ten directions
and by all the Victorious ones and their heirs.

you reveal the essence of the sacred dharma.

Such a fool I am, not to follow in your footsteps!
