How has this clinical rotation holped to define your role as 9 nurse? Please
I got to experience lot more than I thought. For example, | experience going nto the OR & it was an amazing
experiance that |am glad | got because Iwas thinking about that field. After my experience, am not too
Interested init anymore. Ths is simply because the nurses job that | witnessed seems pretty boring and that’s
rol the type of job I would want. was able to see many diferent diagnoses which helped me expand my
‘nowledge. | went to safety rounds one morning, which allowed me to see how all gars ofthe hospital work
together & it wouldn't work if one department was missing. Ths clinical rotaion was amazing & Prof.
Sparhawk made sure we were able to see everything there was to see & made sure to help me with any
(questions | had.
Which objective did you accomplish during this rotation? How did you do it?
Communicating to my patient. The floor wasn't really ever too busy. This alowed fora lot of down time to help
