LIQUOR COMMITTEE MEETING

January 25, 2019

A meeting of the City of Jackson Liquor Committee was held on January 25,
2019 at 12 noon at the new liquor store currently under construction: Liquor
Committee members present were Alderman Brandon Fink, City Administrator
Matt Skaret, and Liquor Store Manager Michelle Bratrud.

LIQUOR STORE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT OVERVIEW

Fink, Skaret, and Bratrud reviewed the construction progress. It was noted that
the new cooler doors were in and the cooling mechanism being installed. It was
also noted that the group believed there were supposed to be 3 to 5 doors that
were wider than the rest. Skaret will confer with the Architect on this.

Discussion was had on interior and exterior signage. Bratrud noted that she has
been working with Snicks Signs. Signs with logos and neon lights were discussed
and recommended.

The shelving was also discussed. Bratrud noted that we are still waiting for an
updated quote from the shelving supplier.

The group noticed a crack in the floor near the front entrance that went straight
through the saw joint. A construction worker noted that the crack was likely due
to concrete shrinkage and would be filled in before the floor is installed.

It was noted that there will need to be a shrouds around the new lighting fixtures.

The bathrooms were mostly completed. There will be a damper for the heater in
the office as it will warm up really fast, and the electrician is installed the extra
outlets that were requested.

Bratrud discussed the music. She had reached out to Sirus XM Radio and they
have provided a couple of quotes, but the group thought they were far too
expensive than what is needed. She is looking into alternative options.
The group inquired if the floor has rebar in it. The construction worker said that is
a fiber mesh. Matting for the front door was discussed and it was noted that the
doors for the bathrooms have been installed.

A crack near the back door was also noted. Skaret will inform the Architect of
this.
