KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION NOTIFICATION 21 December, 2017 Notification No,_KPSC/ B8A-52/ 2017/ Vol-V 264689 . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10 (A) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2002 (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ordinance No. XXVII_ of 2002), the Commission is pleased to direct that in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission Regulations, 2017, the following further amendments shall be made, namely: - AMENDMENT i) Clause (t) of Regulation 6 shall be substituted as under: - “Last date for receipt of applications which shalll be at least 15 days”. ii). The first sentence of Clause (a) of Regulation 12 may be substituted as under: “Only eligible candidates shall normally be called for examination, written test, interview! viva-voce.” ii), Regulation 14 may be substituted as under: - “Unattested photostat copies of the documents will be acceptable if supported by certificate! affidavit provided by the candidate to the effect that the same are genuine and he/she shall be held responsible if found otherwise at any later stage. Moreover, the candidate would bring the originals if and when they are called for interview.” iv) The words “Admission letter” in third sentence of Clause (a) of Regulation 24 may be substituted with words “Admission ¢-letter’. v) _ Clause (a) of Regulation 27 shall be substituted as under: - “Call notices shall be issued under registered cover/ SMS alert to all eligible candidates as far as possible fifteen days before the interview. However, in case of Competitive Examination/. practical examination/ ability test! screening test etc. candidates will be informed — through e-letters, e-mail and SMS alerts at least 15 days before test/ examination. Test information may also be released to the press. Proper record of SMS alerts and e-mails may be kept on record for subsequent verification. vi) Clause (|) of Regulation 28 shall be substituted as under: - “There will be negative marking in screering/ ability test. Each answer shall carry four marks and for each wrong answer, one mark shall be deducted. The threshold for passing screening / ability test shall be securing 20% marks"
