Bandsaw Adjustment

1. Deepest part of the gullet in the center of the top wheel.


2. Tension – tapping blade should move no more than 1/8 inch.
3. Front edge of top and bottom side blocks (or bearings) 1/16 inch behind
deepest part of gullet.
4. Thrust bearings (top and bottom) as close to blade as possible without
turning. Blade should not touch the thrust bearings unless gentle pressure
is applied to the blade, then the bearings should turn.
5. Side blocks (top and bottom) as close to blade as possible without touching.
Blade should not touch the side blocks.
