Learning Centre Ambassadors

The Georgina Scott Sutherland Learning Centre is RGU’s new open collaborative study
space. Located on Level 3 of Aberdeen Business School, the Learning Centre provides
large group study areas, access to PCs, student project rooms, project pods and more!

We are hoping to recruit a small team of Student Ambassadors to help with the
day-to-day activities in the Learning Centre and support the Learning Centre team in
the on-going engagement with students.

The Learning Centre Ambassadors will be expected to work a maximum of 4 hours

each week, at a rate of £7.75/hour.

Ambassadors may be involved in activities including:

Helping students with general queries regarding the Learning Centre and where
possible, direct them to appropriate departments/student services

Supporting the team with marketing, including distributing of posters and

leaflets across the campus

Engaging with RGU students in the gathering of feedback

Reporting any disruption (e.g. PCs or printers not working) to the Learning Centre
team

Ensuring the Learning Centre is kept tidy

Additionally, the successful candidates will be invited to informal inductions to meet

the team and familiarise themselves with the Learning Centre. Full training for the role
will be provided.
