Here are the settings used to get a lot of the Qemu Vms working:

NOTES -

1) Except where otherwise specified, leave -nographic and kvm enabled.

2) The amount of vCPUs and interfaces can usually be whatever you wish. I only listed vCPU and
interface count on Vms with specific requirements.
3) All image files, unless otherwise specified, should be used in hda.
4) If you're using the Windows Vmware GNS3-VM, and run into problems with telnet (especially some
ASAv versions), then use vnc to console into the devices.

ASAv - 2GB RAM

IOS-Xrv – 3GB RAM

CSR-1000v – 3 to 4 GB RAM

NX-Osv – 3GB RAM

vIOS - Specify Type as IOSv when adding this image, and accept the defaults

vIOS-L2 – Specify Type as IOSv-L2 when importing this image, and accept the defaults

vEOS - 2GB RAM

Tiny Core – 96MB RAM

remove -nographic (we want the GUI), and add -usbdevice tablet, if your mouse pointer
doesn't work.
