The chondrite-normalized rare-earth element (REE) diagrams and

primitive-mantle-normalized trace element diagrams for the Wenmulang

samples show similar characteristics for all samples (Fig. 5). REE patterns
show a typical OIB-type negative slope. The samples are enriched in
LREEs to varying degrees, and they are depleted in HREEs, with high
average values of (La/Yb)N(19.25). There are no marked Eu anomalies or
slight positive Eu anomalies (average Eu anomalies are 1.03, 1.17, and
1.04 for cumulate gabbros, meta-gabbro, and meta-basalt, respectively).
Primitive-mantle-normalized trace element diagrams show enrichment in
Ba, Nb, Ta, and Pb, and depletion in Rb, Th, U, and Sr, which is consistent
with typical OIB. There is no obvious Pb enrichment in the meta-basalt
samples, which may be related to weaker alteration, consistent with field
and petrographic observations.
