1. Climate Change and Resource Scarcity- demand for energy is increasing and natural
resources are diminishing.

The environmental technology industry or the green tech industry can benefit from this
trend because with depleting resources and adverse climatic conditions there is a need
to have alternative technologies and equipment in place that are environmental friendly.
For example solar lanterns ,Food Preservation technology, Compressed Natural Gas
Stations etc. will either use the renewable resources to produce energy or help in
conserving the resources in an ecofriendly manner. I base this assessment on (

2. Internet Of Things- Rise in the number of connected devices

The IT Security Consulting industry can benefit from this trend by providing solutions for
addressing cybersecurity risks in the connected devices. The customers will be willing to
pay more for better secured devices. Therefore, this creates an opportunity for the

3. Aging Population in US and China-

The Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare industry can benefit from this trend because the
large number of elderly population will require special care and healthcare services to
