Adding fields to FBL1N header

Let take for example 'vendor line item display' (FBL1N) the header structure is called
FILITEXTS_AP.

Please call up the transaction SE11, enter the structure name in the 'Datatype' field and click
'Display'.

You will get all fields included in the header structure displayed. In this view, use the APPEND
button, to create the APPEND with the name you like (customer name space).
In the append enter the following field:

Component Component Type

PERNR PERNR_D

Hit enter to confirm your entry and activate the APPEND structure. You will receive a warning
message, that the used field is in the SAP namespace, but you can ignore this, as it is NEEDED that
the field is named as in the master data table.

After this is done, you can include the field in the header of the FBL1N.
To do this, you can use the following steps:

Display the list of items, and then use the

'Settings -> Layout -> Current Header Rows' link.

There you can include the personnel number in the area you need it. Use the 'Characteristics'
button to include the description and the value of the field.

After the changes, save the setup of the header. This header is linked to the current selected
layout, so if you need the PERNR field in other layouts, you also have to change the header
for this layout.
