With reference to Convocation 2010 letter dated October 5th 2010, it is

to inform you that (please tick your choice):-

(a) I am eligible to receive my degree in the Convocation, 2010. I shall

attend the Convocation 2010 as per the schedule given to receive
my Degree in person.

(b) I shall not be able to attend the Convocation, 2010 and therefore,
request that I may be issued the Degree in absentia. A fee of Rs.
750/- is being remitted in favor of the NIFT, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-
16 vide bank Draft/IPO No. ---------- dated -----------along with this
letter. I also request that my Degree certificate be sent by courier at
the under-mentioned address.

INSTRUCTIONS

1 All the Graduating students who would like to receive their

. Degrees in person in the Convocation, it is compulsory to collect
the admit card and report to the venue on time. Any student
failing to (i) collect his/her admit card and (ii) reach the venue as
per the schedule given above, will not be allowed to enter the
venue and receive his/ her degree in person. No relaxation will be
allowed under any circumstances.
2 It may be noted that the Convocation Ceremony is to be attended
. only by the graduating students. Thus, no other person will be
allowed to enter the venue.
3 The programme for Convocation ceremony will remain unchanged
. if 2.11.2010 is declared a holiday.

4 Notwithstanding the above for reasons beyond control, if the date

. of Convocation needs to be changed, the announcement will be
made in leading newspapers.
5 Brief cases/Handbags/Ladies Purses/Mobile
. phones/Cameras/Pagers/Helmet/Eatables/Drinks etc. will not be
 allowed in the Convocation venue due to security reasons. Please
make arrangements to leave them outside the venue.
