Statistical Treatment

The following statistics were used in this study:

1. Percentage. (% )This method used to describe the differentiation of each item in

each questions and is used for graphical presentation.

where: f = frequency of scores

b = total number of items

2. Mean. ( Χ́ ) This method defines and describes the performance, efficiency and

accuracy of the study.

3. Pearson Product Moment Correlation. (r) This is used to determine the

relationship of the items in the Biographical to the items in Effects of Classical

Music and in Coping Mechanisms.

where: x = raw score in A

y = raw score in B

n = sample size
The following is used to determine the strength of correlation

0.00 to 0.20 = Negligible correlation

0.21 to 0.40 = Low correlation

0.41 to 0.60 = Substantial correlation

0.61 to 0.80 = Marked correlation

0.81 to 1.00 = High correlation
