ATC: Avianca 052 heavy, New York. Good evening. Climb and maintain 3,000.

Pilot: Climb and maintain 3,000. And, uh, we're running out of fuel, sir.

ATC: OK, fly a heading of 080. And Avianca 052 heavy, I'm gonna bring you about 15 miles northeast
and then turn your back on for the approach. Is that fine with you and your fuel?

Pilot: I guess so. Thank you very much.

ATC: Avianca 52, climb and maintain 3,000.

Pilot: Ah, negative, sir. We just running out of fuel. We OK, 3,000 ought to be good.

ATC: OK, turn left, heading 310, sir.

Pilot: 310, Avianca 052.

Pilot: Avianca 052, we just lost two engines and we need priority, please.

ATC: Avianca 052, turn left, heading 250, intercept the localizer.

Pilot: Roger.

ATC: Avianca 052, you have, uh-- you have enough fuel to make it to the airport?

ATC: Avianca 052, radar contact lost.
