• Preparation of Record’s for Material Approval’s.


• Maintaining of latest project specification, ITP’s, procedures and drawings.
• Monitoring Welding activities as per WPS
• Review of approved WPS and PQR.
• Witness of welder qualification test (WQT) and procedure qualification test.
• Review of received filler and consumable Test Certificate (TC).
• Monitoring of consumable storage, handling, packing and drying temperature as per project approved
procedure.
• Monitoring of Pre heat, Inter pass temperature and inter pass cleaning as per WPS.
• Visual inspection of welded joint profile, surface finish and defects.
• Preparation of joints for NDE as per required Inspection Class.
• Offering of joints and organizing the NDE team.
• Visual inspection of completed welds in the pipe spool and related documentation
• Monitoring PWHT, Hardness checking, PMI checking of pipe spools.
• ISO/Mechanical clearance of fabricated pipe spools, erected spools and structural.
• Witnessing MPT, DPT, PMI (positive material inspection).
• Test Pack review and documentation.
• Verification of weld repair work.
• Witnessing hydro test and pneumatic test.
• Coordinated and communicated with fabrication supervisor, fitters, welders and inspection personnel
• Coordinating with Third Party for field inspection
• Monitoring & follow up of Quality documents as per ISO standards.
• Familiar with Welding processes as GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and SAW. See less
