The Division of Davao City in cooperation with the Davao City Association of Public and Private School Paper Advisers (DAPPSPA), Inc. will hole the Campus Journalism Skills Enhancement Training Editorial Staffers on August 4-5, 2017 at NEAP Region XI Training Center, E. Quirino Ave., Davao City. This training aims to: . Train campus journalists on specific journalism events; Coach campus journalists into enhancing their competitive journalism skills; Enhance teamwork of the whole school editorial staff; + Prepare the campus journalists in their Participation to the Division Schools Press Conference; Develop the specific journalism skills of the young journalists and come up with competitive ones who will succeed in the regional and national level of competitions, ~ Expected participants to this training are school paper advisers and campus Journalists from both English and Fi lipino (from public end private schools) who will participate in various contests Guring the Division Schools Press Conference. The schedule, specific activities and speakers are attached in this memorandum. Al day service credit shall be given to teacher- participants, trainers/taciltaters and members of the Technical Working Group pursuant to DepED Order Ne~ 53, & 2003, Updated Guidelines on the Grant af Vacation Service Credits to Teachers The DAPPSPA will collect a registration fee of P250.00/participant to cover the Cost of the epeakers’ honorarium, food, training materials and other expenses patie to the training.
