Exercise 2 Composition

Write a short composition about what you did last weekend. Try to use verbs of
entertainment, or work if necessary. Remember to use verbs in present continuous.
Write at least 100 words.

The last weekend, Saturday to be exact, I went out with my family to the movies and saw a new
movie called 'Sing', we bought popcorn, soda and candy to see it. At the end of the movie, my
father was called to work in Monterrey on Sunday and we had to help him to save his clothes
and clean the room where he sleeps. Sunday morning we left to the bus station to take the
Monterrey.

It was a little sad because he had just arrived from another city and was leaving again, but at
least we had a good time. My brothers and I will not see it until after 4 months.
