I've had the pleasure of being Ben's colleague for the passed 4 years. In my professional opinion, Ben would be an excellent candidate for the position. Ben's best quality as an educator is his commitment to the students that he serves. | have had several professional conversations with him, from discussing athletic budgets to planning events, he frequently reminds me to remember that everything we do should be for the kids. It is clear that their well-being is his top priority. With all of his duties in the classroom and with activities he is always doing his best to ensure that students are benefiting from a positive experience. The positive relationships that he has developed with students are evident from the increased involvement and success in FBLA, and the number of students that come to him for recommendations. ‘What will set Ben apart from other candidates is his community involvement and work ethic. Ben is often the first person in the building and the last to leave. He is willing to take on any role in the school or community and if his name is attached to it, you know it will be done well. He has been involved in the booster club and numerous other community events. In his time in Blue Hill his commitment to school and the community has. been unmatched.
