Report #: 2019-00318
PROBABLE CAUSE STATEMENT
‘On Monday, March 11", 2019 Travis Lee Davis was found to have escaped from
confinement from the Pettis County Jail. During the early morning hours of March 11" 2019 jail
staff learned that Travis Lee Davis was not accounted for in his cell (Cell 2G-3) during standard
cell checks. It was later determined from speaking with other inmates and reviewing surveillance
camera footage that on Saturday, March 9" 2019 at approximately 9:31 p.m. Travis Lee Davis
climbed up into the ceiling of G Pod, across the rafters, through a maintenance access hole in the
concrete wall, into a maintenance access closet, which lead to an exterior exit on the S. Lamine
side of the jail and fled on foot.
Travis Lee Davis is currently being held in the Pettis County Jail on the charges of
kidnapping, domestic assault 1* degree, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting/interfering
with an arrest (bond of $100,000.00) as well as no bond parole violation from the Missouri
Department of Corrections.
To the best of my knowledge and belief, the facts stated above are true.
