personal growth, that develops personal and
interpersonal effectiveness, moving through the
continuum of maturity from dependence, independence
and interdependence.

and outward success. Yet people need to learn
and put into practice the 7 habits in order to
be effective.

The 7 habits help you to have private and


public victory. Through renewal [Habit 7] you
will continued to be refreshed and sharp
contributing to improvements like unlearning
the bad habits and relearning the good habits.

When you are not proactive you are reactive.

Reactive leads to ineffectiveness and dependency.

To be proactive you need to be aware of your setting,


where you want to be and how to get there – Visionary

There is a need for a paradigm shift


H2 – Begin with the End in Mind

• Why are you here. Your purpose in life.


• To be successful or to be significant?
• What you want to leave behind in life
• What will people say during your eulogy.

Where you want to be.


H3-Put First things First
• Quadrant II – Building relationships
Not urgent but important

• Delegating – you cannot do all things


• Empowering: Gofer:/Stewardship

• Having balance
2. Module 2- PUBLIC VICTORY

• H4-Think win/win

Conflicts are part of life. You can run away


and hide or you can face it.

Face them with a win/win attitude


H5-Seek First to understand, than
to be understood
• Learn to listen actively – empathy

Eg When you respect then you will be


respected.

To be heard you first need to listen and


understand
H6-Synergize
• Harmony - Ensure all the parties and
forces are in harmony collectively
achieving their purpose.
