The steps followed are as follows:

1. The CAD part drawing is imported to mastercam software.


2. The type of machine is identified as milling machine in mastercam 2019 software environment
3. The upper left corner of the part is set as the machine zero point. I.e. in isometric view
4. The contours (tool path) and the holes the coordinates are then located in order
5. The machining parameters are set with the 10mm flat end tool chosen.
6. Others are the depth, lead in and out and even the tool compensation.
7. The simulation to Mill the slot with the end mill (select suitable spindle speed and feed rate
from machinability) is carried out.
8. The result was examined and is successful.
9. The g codes used in the process is exported and shown below:
