Describe the instructional activities that will occur PRIOR to the SRT activity and how you will introduce
the SRT activity.
Prior to the SRT activity, students will have prior knowledge over solar systems. This activity will serve as a
review for the Test. All material covered in this activity is review and was already covered previously.

Students will come into class and have a seat and listen to the teacher’s class instruction. Instruct students to
take out mobile device of their choice and log onto their Kahoot! Accounts silently. Teacher will demonstrate
what the activity will cover. Teacher will answer any questions and then instruct students to begin working.
Make trips around room to assess the students. The activity will be stretched across a whole class period to
be sure all questions are answered and enough time is available.

Reflective Practice: The activity I created has a positive impact on student learning. It keeps the students
engaged in a fun and cooperative way. All the important information that’ll be on the test is reviewed for
which requires the class to access their prior knowledge from previous classes to answer each review
question. A way I can further extend this lesson is by providing a practice take home test with similar
questions to the students who may need or want a little extra help.
