Title and Abstract
The title should not be more than fifteen words, should summarize the main point of the paper, and
identify the crucial variables or issues.
The abstract should be written in 150 to 250 words summarizing the research objectives and
method/s, nature of the participants or key informants, results, and conclusions. Briefly state also the
key recommendation or implication of the study. Include keywords to aid in the retrievallaccess of
your paper.
Introduction
Clearly introduce the major conceptsivariables of the study. Discuss the empirical and theoretical
issues, and emphasize the relevance of the research problem through a thorough discussion of the
literature. Any hypothesis must evolve logically and clearly from the theoretical and empirical work/s
cited.
Method/s
Describe the method used; participants (sample and sampling techniques) or source of data;
research instrument/s or apparatuses used; data gathering procedures; and analysis of data (ie.,
statistical tools, if quantitative). Give no less and no more information that will enable the other
researcher to replicate your study.
Results
Present the important findings and defend the generalization by giving summary statistics and the
results of any inferential statistics performed (for quantitative studies) or important observations and
arguments (for qualitative studies). Data can be presented in tabular and graphical means.
Discussion
Succinctly explain what the results mean. Discuss their theoretical importance and practical
implications. Integrate relevant literature. When necessary, state the limitations of the paper and offer
ways on improving future research.
Conclusion
While this part may be subsumed under the Discussion section, it will be useful to summarize what
the paper has discovered, highlight the broader significance and contribution of the findings, and put
forward recommendations.
References
References must be complete and consistent with the in-text citations; must be arranged
alphabetically. Strictly observe the APA 6” Edition format.
Appendices
This section may contain tables, graphs, full or extract of the research questionnaires, details/pictures
of apparatuses Used, mathematical proofs, and other important details that may cistract the reader
when presented in the main body of your paper.
Author/s Note
This contains the following Information which may already be shown/footnoted in the first page of the
