Resource Singapore Used to Generate Electricity

The pic charts illustrate resources Singapore used to generate electricity in


1970 and 1984. It can be said that the resource use to generate electricity in 1970
remained the same in 1984 but different in percentage.

The main resource used electricity in Singapore is coal for both years. In 1970
46% of electricity was generate by coal and that increased to 55.5% in
1984.Second most important source of power in 1970 is natural gas by 24.3% but
declined to 12.3% in 1984 .The third important source in 1970 is hydroelectric
power but in 1984 the source fall from 16.2% to 13.5%. The second last source
used is oil .In 1970 oil used is 12.1% but the source decline by 7.1% in 1984 to
5%.The lowest used is nuclear .The number used of nuclear in 1970 increased by
12.1% making to 13.5% in 1984.There was 2 increased from 1970 to 1984 which
are coal and nuclear .The 3 resourced has declined which are natural gas,
hydroelectric power, and oil .

There is no change in the resources used to generate electricity in Singapore


between 1970 and 1984. The difference was only on the percentage used.
