Jaret Diaz - Duarte 5 Day Weather Data
Jaret Diaz - Duarte 5 Day Weather Data
1. What patterns did you see between air pressure and precipitation?
They start at high numbers then they go to small numbers and finally go to high numbers
again.
2. What patterns did you see between air pressure and temperature?
3. What patterns did you see between air pressure and wind speed and direction?
4. Over the five-day period, which day had the highest barometric pressure readings? Which
day did this occur? Describe the general weather conditions for on that day.
5. Over the five-day period, which day had the lowest barometric pressure readings? Which day
did this occur? Describe the general weather conditions on that day.
Day 4 four had the lowest barometric pressure readings at 750 millibars.
6. Which days had the least change in air pressure over the five-day period? Describe the
general weather conditions for these days.
Day 1 and 2 had the least change in atmospheric pressure, they only had a 3 millibar
difference.
7. What conclusion can you make about the connection between barometric pressure and
general weather conditions?
My conclusion is that they both vary a lot (they go higher, then lower a bunch of times).
8. Predict what the weather conditions will be like tomorrow based on your data. Write the
predicted temperature, wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, and relative humidity.
Wind Speed: 1 mph. Atmospheric Pressure: 1020 millibars. Wind Direction: West to East.
Temperature: 20° C
. Humidity: 30%
9. Choose three different cities, not your city. What is the barometric pressure reading for each
city?
West Covina: 29.91 inches Covina: 29.94 inches Monrovia: 29.91 inches
11. How does your prediction of the general weather conditions for each of your three cities
compare with the actual weather? If they are not similar, explain what might have caused the
differences.
