(632) 929-66-26 to 29 * (632) 929-6252 Website: http:wwwdenr.gov.ph / E-mail: web@denrgov.ph (tp DENR MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 2016 - JUN 21 2016 SUBJECT : ADOPTION OF THE MANUAL FOR THE OPERATIONALIZATION OF THE LAND ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INSPECTION, VERIFICATION AND APPROVAL OF SURVEYS (LAMS-IVAS) Pursuant to DENR Administrative Order No. 2010-18 entitled “Improving Management of Land Information Through the Adoption of the Land Administration and ‘Management System (LAMS)” and to ensure efficiency of service delivery, access to land information, as well as fast track the verification and approval process of land survey, the ‘Manual for the Operationalization of the Land Administration and Management System — Inspection, Verification and Approval of Surveys (LAMS-IVAS) is hereby prescribed and adopted. The Manual shall serve as a guide to provide step by step procedures on how to use the different functionalities of the LAMS-ICVAS. The Director, Land Management Bureau (LMB) shall make changes, enhancements and upgrade this Manual from time to time as appropriate and shall be responsible in the distribution of the same to the DENR Regional Offices. ‘This Order shall take effect immediately. Secretary Dr sss Ser on CM Ml I LAMS IVAS user's Guide LAMS IVAS is a system designed for the tracking of the verification and approval process of land surveys at the DENR LMS offices. It features special functionalities to facilitate automated checks which aid in the automated verification process. LAMS IVAS is a module of the LAMS Philippines. For installation, administration, configuration and additional topics about the LAMS Philippines and its other modules, please get a copy of the full documentation from the Land Management Bureau (LMB) or your system administrator. This guide aims to provide step by step procedures on how to use the different functionalities of the Lams IVAS. To assist readers in using this material, important pieces of information which the reader should understand and remember are hilighted using the Bay symbols and. Refer to footnotes for additional details on special terminologies. This manual is divided into 3 sections. Navigating the application, Data entry screens, and Transaction Tracking, Read on below to get you started. SECTION 1. Navigating through the application This section describes the ways on how to use the system. It explains the login, access buttons, and function keys. It also details the manner on how to save, edit, delete, logout, and exit from the system. 1. Logging In to the system. Run LAMS application by double clicking on LAMS shortcut from the desktop. is will display the login screen. The system administrator shall assign your preferred User ID and Password. The User ID identifies your access and restrictions on the system. Before proceeding further, it is important to remember a few tips to facilitate easy navigation and data encoding. On searchable fields, pressing this key shows the search form. You may use this fuctionality in searching for records. 2. F10~ Save. To save the encoded record. FB — Delete. To delete record. important : in most cases, the system restricts deleting records. When allowed, use this function key with caution as deleted records cannot be recalled. 4. F9— Recall previous value. To recall the last/previous value of the field. 5. TAB/ENTER. To finalize the entry and move the cursor to the next field. 6. ESC. To disregard any changes on the record and clear the form. © There are two types of data fields; Optional and Mandatory fields. The system will not allow you to proceed to the next box ifa mandatory fied is empty. Press the LEFT arrow or UP arrow keys to go back to the previous field. The system also checks for the values on all fields and prevents saving the record ifan empty value for a mandatory field's found. ‘+ Pressing F4 on non-searchable fields displays a message prompt indicating that a lookup is not available {for that particular field ‘* tis highly advisable to navigate (move from one field to the next) by pressing ENTER or TAB as this will ‘ensure the proper sequence of data entry fields. 3, Function Buttons. The following buttons are used to perform important functions in the system ds Clicking the Save button commits all the changes and saves the record to the database. The same button is also used to process records or to generate reports. Whenever this button is present in any form, pressing F10 simulates the clicking of this button ‘The Clear button is similar to pressing the ESC key in the middle of the data entry Process. Clicking the close button closes the form and disregards any changes on the record. If changes have been made, appropriate warning is displayed. Deletes the record. This is similar to pressing the F8 function key. Launches the LookUp function. Similar to pressing F4 Displays the list of valid values for the field, Pressing F4 simulates this function. 4. Data Entry Controls. Data entry controls are the user interface to encode data on the screen. [omege 7008] Integer TextBox. Used to encode whole numbers. Integer texboxes do not accept alpha values, special characters, and decimal points. String TextBox. Used to encode string values such as alphanumeric characters. It may accept any characters on the keyboard. (Check Box. Used to set a flag or logical field. You may use the mouse or the ‘Spacebar to toggle the values of CheckBoxes. Decimal Textbox. Used to encode numeric values in decimal format. The ‘number of decimal points is defined by the precision of the decimal field.
