ANIMAL EXPERIMENTATION
Animals are widely used in laboratories. Mice, rabbits, dogs, and monkeys are a few examples of animals used
by researchers and scientists for scientific and medical purposes. Scientists use the animals to investigate
biological processes in humans and animals, to study the causes of diseases, to test drugs, vaccines, and
surgical techniques, and to evaluate the safety of chemical used in pesticides, cosmetics, and other products.
Many chemical functions like human so that they can be good models to understand the human body. Some
animals suffer from the same diseases as humans do. Animals also carry a number of genes that are identical to
human genes. With those similarities, scientists are able to learn much about the human body by studying the
animals.

Once,there lived a happy family in the kingdom of Priangan Land.they were a father in from dog. His name
is Tumang, a mother whose nam was Dayang Sumbi, and a child whose name was Sangkuriang. One day
Dayang Sumbi asked her son to go hunting with his lovely dog, tumang.after hunting all day,Sangkuriang
began desperate and worried because he hunted no deer. Then he thought to shot his own dog. Then he took the
dog liver and carried home. Soon Dayang Sumbi found out that it was not deer liver but Tumang’s, her own
dog. So,she was very angry and hit Sangkuriang’s head. In that incident, sangkuriang got wounded and scar.
Then ran away from their home.
Years went by, Sangkuriang had traveled to many places and finally arrived at a village. He met a beautiful
women and felt in love with her. When they were a iscussing their wedding plans,the women looked at the
wound in Sangkuriang’s head. It matched to her son’s wound that had left several years earlier. Soon she
realized that she felt in love with her own son. She couldn’t marry him but how to say it. Then,she found the
way. She needed a lake and boat for celebrating their wedding day. Sangkuriang had to make them in one
night. He built a lake. With a dawn just moment away and the boat was almost complete. Dayang Sumbi had to
stop it. Then,she lit up the eastern horizon with flashes of light. It made the cook crowed for a new day.
 Sangkuriang failed to marry her. He was very angry and kicked the boat. It felt over and became the mountain
of Tangkuban Perahu Bandung

Diving in Bunaken Island
Last year I left New Zealand for Bunaken Island. I went there with a group of New Zealand divers. Getting
there was not quite easy.
Soon after our arrival at Bunaken, we got a general briefing. It included a description abaout how to take
pictures under water.
Then, we began ourdiving, we saw group of tiny fish. In order to identify them, we needed a good guide.
Without some knowladge of their habitat and behavior, it was difficult to identify.
In summary, the trip was mostly enjoyable. This place is so impressive with its marine life.
