Swimming Pool Rules
The following is a brief breakdown of the rules. A complete outline of the pool rules is
enclosed. Important to read the enclosure so all can enjoy themselves!
1. Only Residents & Their Guests. Residents Must Be Present at Time of Frolicking
2. Hours: Memorial Day to Labor Day 8:00 am—8:00 pm
3. No Lifeguard on Duty –Ages 14 & Under Must Be Accompanied By an Adult
4. Keys: One Per Unit NO FENCE HOPPING
5. No Glass Items
6. OOL; No “P” in Our Pool Please. Everyone Thanks You!
7. Shower Before Entering Pool; No Shorts or Pants in Pool
8. Relax and Enjoy the Day; No Running, Yelling, No Loud Music, Toys in Pool 8” or Larger
9. No Smoking ANYWHERE Inside Pool Area
10. No Pets Anywhere in the Pool Area; They are Happier Chilling At Home
11. Take Your Trash With You, Not to be Left in Bathroom Receptacles
12. Pool Chairs; Folded and Stored Against Fence, Use Yours Only Please
13. Umbrella; Close It When you Leave and Any Not Being Used
14. Lock Up When You Leave; Close Umbrella, Lights Off and Lock the Entrance Door
15. Avoid Spoiling The Day with a Fine by Following The Rules.

Roofing & Deck Projects Spring Cleanup

SWIMMING POOL RULES
1. Persons Permitted: Only residents of Forest Ridge and their guests are permitted to use the pool and the
pool facilities. A RESIDENT OF FOREST RIDGE MUST ACCOMPANY GUESTS AND REMAIN WITH THEM
IN THE POOL AREA. A GUEST IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RESIDENT.
2. Pool Hours : The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Hours are 8:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M.

3. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY : All persons using the pool and the pool facilities do so at their own
risk. The Association assumes no responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use or
for any loss or damage to personal property. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed to use the
pool without a parent or responsible adult in attendance. No resident under the age of 18 may have
more than three (3) guests in the pool area at a time. If the Unit Owner is present, this limit does not
apply. Children age 14-18 may not supervise more than one (1) underage child.

4. Keys: Every unit is provided with one, non-reproducible key for the pool entrance door. This door must
remain locked at all times. Blocking the door is not permitted. Anyone caught climbing the fence will be
fined and banned from the pool for the remainder of the season AND the Unit Owner will be charged the
cost of any repairs to the fence. Replacement keys are available from the Management Company for a
charge of $25.00.
5. NO GLASS ITEMS: of any kind (except eye glasses) are allowed in the pool area or the pool facilities.
6. Personal Care: Persons with infections, communicable disease, or anyone with an ailment or condition
that could endanger the health of others, are prohibited from using the pool. If you are sick, PLEASE be
considerate and do not come down. Spitting or blowing your nose in the pool is prohibited and is
subject to a fine. No urinating in the pool is allowed.
7. Showers: All bathers must shower before entering the pool. Playing in the showers is prohibited. Only
proper swim attire is allowed. No shorts of any kind or pants are permitted.

8. You MUST be considerate of others: The pool is for everyone’s enjoyment. Running, boisterous or rough
play is prohibited. If this occurs, offenders will be asked to leave. Loud music is not allowed. Noise
levels must be reasonable. If excessive, offenders will be asked to leave. Use of toys such as balls or
floats should be used with discretion and again, with the rights of others in mind. Toys or floats cannot
be stored at the pool. Balls smaller than the skimmer inlets (8 inches in diameter) are not allowed.
9. NO SMOKING ANYWHERE INSIDE THE POOL AREA. Smoking allowed only outside the door and butt
cans MUST be used.
10. Pets: No dogs or other animals are allowed anywhere in the pool area.
11. Trash: RESIDENTS MUST TAKE ALL OF THEIR TRASH WITH THEM. Do not leave anything. Trash
receptacles in the bathrooms are for the paper towels provided only. Offenders will be fined.

12. Pool Chairs: Are to be folded and stored against the wooden fence at the entrance. Residents and guests
are not to use anything not belonging to them or their hosts.

13. Umbrellas: If you open an umbrella…..YOU MUST CLOSE IT. IF you happen to find one already open,
please close it when you are leaving.

14. The last person leaving the pool area must lower the umbrellas, shut the bathroom lights, close the
bathroom doors and make sure that the entrance door is closed and locked.
15. Pool Privileges are Revocable: The Board of Directors has the right to revoke pool privileges or to fine
any individuals who violate the above rules.
REMEMBER. THIS IS YOUR POOL! ENJOY IT!
AND TREAT IT WITH THE SAME CARE AS YOU WOULD YOUR UNIT!
