Hello! My name is Katherine Brown. I am currently a third-year student at Santa Clara

University studying Management, Sociology, and Studio Art. As a student in the Silicon Valley, I
have a great understanding of the importance of the corporate business culture, and one of my
biggest goals is to have to opportunity to have an impact on this culture.

These goals relate largely to my education and previous experience. I have worked in business
in many of my previous roles, such as a sales associate and marketing assistant, as well as my
current job as Editor-In-Chief of my campus’s presence of Odyssey, where I managed a group of
writers and helped them to find their voices in a written medium.

These jobs have given me a strong sense of not only the culture and environment of business,
but also of team management and motivation. They have taught me the importance of
cultivating a positive work environment and understanding different perspectives to get a well-
rounded view of the community you present. I hope to use this understanding to help add to
and affect any business culture that I may be a part of in the future.

I believe that my education, along with my current and previous work experience, make me a
