Clay men

We are made of clay

We know no true form
Instability is our nature
Malleable to any beliefs
We only know how to pretend
We walk amongst you
Dressed in black and white
Afraid of being different
Cause we dry out in the spotlight
We turn hollow and brittle
Break at the slightest pressure
We can’t live up to your measure
Please look away now
Before I memorize your face
Let us peacefully live out our days
I know

You think I like you, I don’t

I’m just nice
You think you know me, you don’t
Even I don’t
You think I don’t notice, don’t you?
I do, I just don’t bother
