Effects of long distance relationship

Nowadays, due to the development of technology, long distance relationships are more and

more common. But, everybody knows that most of the times these relations do not work out. If it

is difficult to carry on with a normal relationship, just imagine if your couple lives thousands of

kilometers away. Having a partner in the distance may have many adverse effects, some of the most

outstanding are anxiety, loneliness and loss of trust.

In a long distance relationship, people tend to become anxious. Due to the lack of encounter

and a no proper communication, persons in this type of relationships may wonder a lot about their

couples. They probably have many questions that cannot be answered immediately and that drives

them crazy. This situation generates a high level of stress and anxiety.

Another effect of this kind of involvement is the feeling of loneliness. Physical contact

matters, a couple needs to have intimacy and demonstrate love through body touch. Also emotional

support have a great importance in a match. Because of the distance that separates these people,

they will feel lonely from time to time.

One more consequence is the loss of trust, this usually happens owing to jealousy. People

lean to suspect about anything and jump to conclusions based on rumors. Unluckily, most of the

times these rumors are true and when someone is cheated once, it is quite hard for that person to

regain trust.

All in all, it is known that having a long distance relationship is a hard task. Partners have to

deal with many conflicts such us anxiousness, lack of physical and emotional contact and jealousy.

They go through all these struggles to end up cheating on their couples or being cheated. Therefore,

we should think twice before getting into such a love relationship.
