Early Childhood Education

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to recommend Marie Salve Luz for a position as a teacher in your district. I have had the
honor to supervise Marie during her time as a teaching intern during Fall of 2017, and again as a student teacher
in Spring of 2019. She first impressed my colleagues and I on her first day of placement and throughout the
semester she has continued to hold herself to a high standard as an educator.

Marie has demonstrated that she is dedicated to her students. She is thoughtful in her interactions with children
and works hard to develop lessons that are meaningful learning experiences. She has shown an exceptional level
of skill documenting children’s learning, and is very creative developing materials for use in the classroom.

As a co-instructor for her course on integrated curriculum in early childhood education as well as her field
supervisor I have been able to see the ways she integrates innovative methods in her practice. She is very
thoughtful in her practice and her reflection on that practice.

I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Marie. Her humility and willingness to accept
and integrate feedback into her practice has made it a joy to supervise her. She will be an excellent addition to
any school.

Sincerely,

Francesca Pase
PhD Candidate/Graduate teaching assistant
