Computer Assembly and Disassembly

ASSEMBLY

1. Discharge yourself before touching any part of the computer.


2. Apply 5’s Segregate and arrange the computer peripherals.
3. Casing configurations open the case and install the power supply.
4. Mother board configuration. Install the CPU, CPU fan and RAM.
5. Install the motherboard to the case and screw.
6. Connect the power, switches and IDE connectors to the motherboard
7. Inspect all connectors, be sure that it is in proper places and tighten.
8. Connect the external part peripherals.
9. Switch on the computer System

DISSASEMBLY

1. Switch off and unplug the computer from the power source.
2. Disconnect all the external connector peripherals.
3. Discharge yourself before touching any part of the computer.
4. Open the case.
5. Unplug all the internal connectors from the motherboard.
6. Unscrew the power supply.
7. Unscrew all the drivers (HDD, CD, ROM, and floppy drives )
8. Unscrew the mother board.

Entering BIOS Set-up

1. Start the computer


2. Press F2 or DEL to enter BIOS Menu
3. In Bios set up go to Exit Menu then choose load Set up Defaults
4. Go to Boot Menu choose Boot Device Priority or Boot Order or Boot
Sequence
5. In first boot device make CD/ DVD first boot device
6. Insert the CD or USB on to the CD/DVD ROM drive
7. Press F10 to save change and exit. Click yes then enter, the computer will
restart automatically.
