Course Syllabus

A. ECE 162 Course Description (Lecture: 2 units)

This course discusses ECE laws and regulations. It focuses on the legal and ethical positions
of the professional engineer. Topics covered are contracts, warranties, liabilities, patents,
bids and insurance

ECE 163 Course Description (Lecture: 1 unit)

This course is a combination of seminars and lectures on current developments in the field of
electronics and communications. It also involves exposure to various companies and plants
dealing with electronics and communications facilities.

Regular 5th Year Standing

C. Course Objectives
1. To know the ECE law and regulations.
2. To learn topics which are included in the ECE licensure Exam.

A = 92+ C+ = 76-80+ F = Below 60
B+ = 87-91+ C = 70-75+
