When Santa comes to our house, I would like to peek, But I know he’ll never come Until I fast asleep.
FIVE LITTLE BELLS
Five little bells hanging in a row, The first one said: „Ring me slow!” The second one said: „Ring me fast!” The third one said: „Ring me last!” The fourth one said: „I’m like a chime!” The fifth one said: „Ring us all at Christmas time!”
CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE (by Charlie Brown)
Christmas time is here, Happiness and cheer, Fun for all that children Call their favorite time of year. Snowflakes in the air, Carols everywhere, Olden times and ancient rhymes And love and dreams to share. Sleigh bells int he air, Beauty everywhere, Yuletide by the fireside And joyful memories there. Christmas time is here, We’ll be drawing near, Oh that we could always see Such spirit through the year, Such spirit through the year.
SANTA GOT STUCK
On the night before Christmas Day, When Santa arrived on his sleigh. Into the chimney he climed with his sack, But he was so fat that he couldn’t get back. Oh what a terrible sight! He stayed up there all night. When Santa got stuck up the chimney, He began to shout „You, boys and girls, won’t get any toys If you don’t pull me out. My beard is black, There’s soot in my sack, My nose is tickling too.” When Santa got stuck up the chimney, Atchoo! Atchoo! Atchoo!
CHRISTMAS EVE Hi! Oh! Oh! Look at the snow, Over the garden way. So deep and so white, It has fallen all night, We cannot go out today!
So we’ll have a good game with Daddy,
Warm in the cosy house, And then when the twilight gathers, We’ll talk of old Santa Claus.
We’ll sit by the flames together
And hear how they roar and sing, And picture the old man coming, And wonder what he will bring.
We never shall hear his footsteps
For the snow will hush his tread, But he’ll come to us just as ever If the stockings are by the bed.
And he’ll bring us the prettiest presents,
Just as he used to do, For he never forgets the children As long as they trust him true.
