Need Gap - Sensory overload because most HMI systems rely heavily on visual and auditory systems.
Those that incorporate the sense of touch or motion often do so through a joystick with force feedback
or other motion (vibration) based haptics.
Kinaptic HHMI opens new doors for bi-directional high resolution "immersion" and a whole world of
new opportunity to exploit the vast amount of skin available on a human body. Evolution of the Kinaptic
HHMI system may prove that just like our tongue has variable sensory "tuning" or acuity based on
location of the taste buds on the tongue, our skin may have similar haptic sensory sensitivity based on
location and signal shape/intensity/waveform etc.
