    DD08 AMB-E | EMERGENCY RESPONSE-AMBULANCE (English)

    ALL DELEGATES MUST POSSESS PDO APPROVED HSE PASSPORT CONTAINING VALID:

    AHAF - AHA Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED

    Valid PDO DD01 & DD03 permit

    MUST HAVE

    Age over 26 years

    Safety Footwear

    Prescribed aids to vision (if applicable)

    Coverall or working clothing

    Current, valid ROP LV driving licence

    Valid ID/Resident Card

    Minimum of 5 years driving experience

    Training MUST take place only in vehicles specifically designed and designated as ambulances and

    which meet the following PDO requirements (as per SP2000).

    In addition to complying with the vehicle general requirements, and the light vehicle

    requirements, ambulances must also comply with section 7.7 and Annex 14 of SP2000.

    Every ambulance must also comply with SP-1230 Medical Examination, Treatment and Facilities.

    All ambulance must have:

    o approval, inspection certificate, medical equipment test report and certification from

    the Ministry of Health

    o a current valid RAS inspection certificate

    o dual speed limiter

    o IVMS

    o high-intensity rear lights

    o a reversing alarm
