pite the fact that, as Shakespeare said, "the pen is mightier than the sword," the pen itself is

not enough to make an effective writer. In fact, though we may all like to think of ourselves
as the next Shakespeare, inspiration alone is not the key to effective essay writing. You
see, the conventions of English essays are more formulaic than you might think – and, in
many ways, it can be as simple as counting to five.
Write a unified, coherent essay about the increasing presence of intelligent
machines. In your essay, be sure to:

 clearly state your own perspective on the issue and analyze the relationship
between your perspective and at least one other perspective
 develop and support your ideas with reasoning and examples
 organize your ideas clearly and logically
 communicate your ideas effectively in standard written English

Some consider essay writing a burden while others see it as an opportunity to

express their thoughts and opinions. Because through writing, you get to write about
things that you want others to know about and share a reflection through reflective
essay. Your imagination becomes boundless and your ideas are limitless.
