To Whom It May Concern:

I have had the pleasure of working with Chelsea Ansari at Community Roots Academy in
Laguna Niguel, CA for the past three years.

Over that time I’ve watched Ms. Ansari develop into an extremely disciplined and passionate
educator. She is a strong communicator as well as a good listener. Ms. Ansari’s
communication skills are evident during our weekly PLC meetings where she effectively
collaborates with the team and often takes on a leadership role. She is kind and sensitive with a
sense of humor that immediately puts our group at ease.

One of the most endearing qualities that I’ve witnessed over the course of our professional
relationship is her passion for the arts. Ms. Ansari often spearheads creative ideas, aligning
them with the grade level curriculum. The outcome is that the artwork enriches her classroom
environment and the lessons cross-cut between disciplines allowing her students to be inspired
and engaged learners.

Ms. Ansari’s classroom management skills are strong. She has systems and structured routines
in place which allow the students to glide through the day using a flexible seating arrangement
which seamlessly encourages student independence and self direction.

It is my hope that these highlighted aspects of Ms. Ansari’s practice will give you a glimpse of
the passion that she has towards her vocation as an educator.

I believe that Chelsea Ansari would be an asset to any team that she joins.
