 Degradation of the environment: the increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in the

atmosphere leads to smog that can prevent sunlight from reaching the earth. This affects
the plants in their photosynthesis. Gases such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide can
cause acid rain. Water pollution in terms of the oil spill can lead to the death of several
species of wildlife.
 Human health: the decrease in air quality leads to various respiratory problems and
various diseases that can be caused by air pollution. With water pollution, it can cause
irritations and skin rashes. Similarly, noise pollution leads to loss of hearing, stress and
sleep disturbance.
 Global warming: emission of greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide, is leading to
global warming. All of them, directly or indirectly, cause an increase in carbon dioxide, so
that sea level increases and represents a danger for people living near the coasts.
 Degradation of the ozone layer: As a result of human activities, chemicals that contributed
to the depletion of the ozone layer were released into the atmosphere.
 Infertile land: due to the constant use of pesticides, the soil becomes infertile. Plants
cannot grow properly. Various forms of chemicals from industrial waste are released into
the flowing water, which also affects the quality of the soil.
